Wednesday morning, the children and staff from Jerusalem found out that the temperature in the New Hampshire mountains can be much cooler in the summer than in Jerusalem! Despite weather that didn’t seem like summer, the children from Jerusalem joined their Boston friends in swimming in the sunny afternoon. They also had their choice today of activities like basketball, rock climbing, jewelry-making, and drama. We have now formed three interfaith groups to learn more about one another’s religions. One interfaith group hiked to a near-by waterfall and talked about how water is used in Jewish, Muslim, and Christian faith practices.
Everyone is excited that we will be hiking up a mountain on Thursday.
