Fully rested and rearing to go, children had their choice of yoga or outdoor games. A gorgeous summer morning, most children chose the outdoor games.
At morning reflection, children shared some of the things their three faith groups have in common.
Kids4Peacers then joined the rest of Camp for breakfast and were serenaded with a welcome song.
Next heading to the waterfront, the boys and girls got to know each other better while they built a raft BLINDFOLDED. They paddled their rafts out to into the lake to find a prize hidden in a canoe moored in the water.
Lunch was followed by swimming and afternoon activity choices of archery, soccer, or arts and crafts. The afternoon ended with faith groups planning how to teach each other about Juma Prayer, Shabbat and the Christian Sabbath.
Evening brought a traditional campfire to welcome kids to camp. They sang songs, roasted marshmellows and made smores, a popular American Camp treat.
