We are excited announce dates for our summer 2014 program! Kids4Peace Boston’s 4th annual summer program will be held on: August 3-13, 2014. Participants will also be required to participate in 4 to 5 pre-camp meetings on Sunday afternoons in April, May, and June, as well as invited to join our post-camp gatherings of the Kids4Peace Leadership/Continuation program during the 2014-2015 school year. These year-round gatherings consist of recreation, service projects, and participation in families’ invitations to religious celebrations such as Christian religious holidays, Iftar dinners, and Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. The cost of the program is $825 and need based scholarships are available.
Kids4Peace Boston seeks to maintain a balance of participants from each religious tradition as well as a balance of boys and girls. Before submitting an application, we ask that you please contact Matt Loper at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out if there is an opening for your child.
Applications include a short questionnaire on the child’s understanding of peace and interest in participating in this program. Next step is an in-person interview of the child and an adult family member.
Once a child is accepted, the family is asked to make a firm commitment to participate in several pre-camp orientation meetings in the late winter and spring. 2014 tuition is $825. Financial aid is available. Please click here for a financial aid application
